Deposits and Payments
Included and non-included costs
A nonrefundable deposit of C$400 reserves your spot. When you order, you are welcome to either put down the deposit or pay your registration in full.
The balance of payment is due June 1, 2026. In late May 2026, Classical Pursuits will send you a link to your order where you can complete the payment.
Payments for Toronto Pursuits can be made by credit card, or by cheque in Canadian funds. Please make cheques out to Classical Pursuits. Please contact us to register by cheque; contact details are below.
We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards.
Verbal authorization for the use of your credit card for deposit confirms your reservation and indicates your agreement with our registration and cancellation policy for Toronto Pursuits.
Included in the registration cost are:
- One morning seminar (12.5 seminar hours) with coffee break
- 5 buffet lunches
- Welcome cocktail party with open bar and hors d'oeuvres
- Ticket to Toronto Summer Music Festival concert for all early bird registrants (by Jan. 4, 2026)
- After-lunch speaker series
- Evening film screening with snacks
- Morning coffee and newspapers
- Welcome materials and seminar prep guidance from your seminar leader
- Not Included: Transport to and from Toronto; accommodation; local transport; seminar readings; meals other than lunch; personal expenses; travel insurance; 13% Ontario Harmonized Sales Tax
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations by you:
If you must cancel your registration, please notify Classical Pursuits immediately by calling (647) 951-4266 (local) or 1 (844) 869-1001 (toll-free). You can also email us at info@classicalpursuits.com.
The C$400 deposit is nonrefundable.
Note that we cannot transfer Toronto Pursuits deposits to count toward deposits or other payments for Classical Pursuits tours. Our tours are booked through our partner Worldwide Quest, and they are the official seller of travel services for out tours.
If you cancel your Toronto Pursuits registration prior to June 13, 2026, you will receive a refund for 80% of your order, minus the deposit. We will apply the remaining 20% (minus the deposit) to Toronto Pursuits in the next two calendar years.
We do not refund payments for cancellations made after June 13, 2026. If you find you need to cancel after this date, please contact us at info@classicalpursuits.com.
Cancellations by Classical Pursuits:
Classical Pursuits reserves the right to cancel Toronto Pursuits for any reason, including insufficient number of participants. If Toronto Pursuits 2026 is cancelled as a result of suspension of operations by Classical Pursuits, you will have the choice of:
- a full refund of any monies paid for Toronto Pursuits 2026 registration
- transfer of the full value of your payment to a future Toronto Pursuits program or Classical Pursuits online seminar
If you are travelling to Toronto Pursuits from outside the Toronto area, we strongly encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance that matches your level of risk tolerance.
travel and insurance
Travel to Toronto and accommodation in Toronto are not included in the registration cost. As mentioned above, if you are travelling to Toronto Pursuits from outside the Toronto area, we strongly encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance that matches your level of risk tolerance. Classical Pursuits will not refund cancellations outside our policy parameters owing to failure to purchase travel insurance.
Classical Pursuits is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you may incur as a result of your cancelling your registration or of Classical Pursuits cancelling the program. This includes expenses for nonrefundable flights, rail, or other transport; hotel or other accommodations; passports, visas, vaccinations, or any other expense related to attending Toronto Pursuits. Please read carefully all terms and conditions of any travel-related purchases before you buy.
We always encourage those travelling from outside Canada to also purchase travel health insurance. These costs are not included with your registration.
Seminar Changes
We encourage you to read the seminar descriptions carefully to make sure the topic and amount of reading are a good match for you. We always happy to provide more information about a seminar or put you in contact with a seminar leader.
You can always find all readings listed on each seminar page and get details on length using book ISBNs. You are free to change your seminar before July 1, 2026, provided there is space in the seminar you want to move to and you are able to complete any preparation required. There is no cost to change seminars.
After July 1, 2026, we cannot accommodate any change in seminar. No refunds will be given should you wish to change seminars after July 1 but your new seminar choice is full.
Code of Conduct
Classical Pursuits reserves the right to withdraw or refuse any service to any participant. No refunds or partial refunds will be given for participants who do not complete the program because of code of conduct violations. See the full Code of Conduct here.

All services are organized by Classical Pursuits acting as agent for the owners, contractors and suppliers providing classroom and event space.
