All Classical Pursuits trips operate under Worldwide Quest Terms and Conditions.

Deposits
All trips require a nonrefundable deposit of US$500 per person unless stated otherwise in the relevant trip information. The deposit will confirm your reservation until 90 days prior to trip departure, at which time the balance of the payment is due. A second nonrefundable deposit maybe required for certain trips.

Payments
Worldwide Quest accepts payments by cash, cheque or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Verbal authorization for use of your credit card for deposit confirms your reservation and indicates your compliance with our terms and conditions. The balance payment is due 90 days prior to departure. If the balance is not paid in full by the due date, Worldwide Quest will regard the booking as cancelled. Tours are not confirmed as operating until all participants have paid in full.

Cancellations and Refunds
If you decide to cancel your trip, you must notify Worldwide Quest immediately and in writing. Your deposits are nonrefundable. If you cancel within 90 days prior to departure,all associated trip costs are nonrefundable. The tour price misquoted as a package and no partial refunds will be given for services not used.

In almost all cases, all payments are nonrefundable. Please read the Worldwide Quest Trip Cancellation & Refund Policy carefully for full details.

Changes to Your Booking
Subject to the terms in the Trip Cancellation and Refund Policy, you may request to transfer to a different Trip. To make a transfer request, you must notify Worldwide Quest in writing at travel@worldwidequest.com. The request must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to departure. Acceptance of such transfer requests will be in the sole discretion of Worldwide Quest. If approved, your Trip Deposit will be transferred, less an administrative fee of CAD$250, to the Trip Balance of a Trip departing not later than two (2) years from the time of the Trip Deposit’s transfer. Transfers are not allowed within ninety (90) days prior to the departure of your original Trip.

Travel Insurance

Emergency medical insurance is mandatory on all Worldwide Quest trips. We will send you an insurance application form and quotes for recommended coverage. Should you choose not to purchase the insurance coverage offered by Worldwide Quest, you must sign an insurance waiver and provide proof of alternate coverage. Please ensure it includes provision for emergency evacuation. See Worldwide Quest’s Insurance page for full details.

Both Classical Pursuits and Worldwide Quest strongly recommend that you get trip cancellation insurance. Protect your investment! Worldwide Quest offers several forms of travel insurance coverage. See their Insurance page for more details.

Tickets and Travel Documents
Tickets and trip documents will be sent to the tour participant approximately three weeks prior to departure. Participants assume full responsibility for loss or damage to their tickets and documents before and during the tour, and will incur any and all applicable penalties for any re‐issues, plus an administration charge of C$75 per person.

Currency
Worldwide Quest accepts payment only in Canadian or U.S. dollars. Please note that for tours priced in currencies other than U.S. or Canadian dollars, payment must be made in Canadian dollars at our exchange rate.

Tour Pricing
Tour prices are listed per person, based on double occupancy. Tour costs and inclusions are listed in the detailed itinerary for each tour. Worldwide Quest tries its utmost not to increase tour prices; however, sometimes increases are beyond our control. Worldwide Quest reserves the right, as governed by the Ontario Travel Industry Act, to amend tour prices (or any part) for reasons such as, but not limited to,increased fuel costs, airfares, airport charges or increases in ground operator fees. Any increase in tour price must be paid prior to the departure date. Please note: If the tour cost increases by more than 7%, you have the option of paying the full price increase or receiving a full refund.

Liability Release and Responsibility
Prior to participating on a tour, you will be required to complete a brief confidential personal information form. Completion of the personal information and/or the payment of a deposit is taken as acknowledgement of and agreement to these terms and conditions.All services are organized by Worldwide Quest acting as agent for the owners, contractors and suppliers providing ground transportation, hotel accommodations and all other related travel services. Notice is hereby given that all arrangements on behalf of participants are made by Worldwide Quest on the sole condition that Worldwide Quest shall not be held responsible for any injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage or irregularity which may be occasioned through acts of any company and/or persons engaged in carrying out arrangements and services described herein or otherwise in connection herewith. The information contained in current brochures and press kits is correct to the best of our knowledge, but Worldwide Quest accepts no liability for any inaccuracies. Worldwide Quest reserves the right to alter any itinerary or service at any time without penalty to it. Any additional expense or cancellation cost shall be borne by the participant. Worldwide Quest reserves the right to withdraw or refuse any service to any participant at its discretion.

Delay, Cancellation or Change of Itinerary
Since schedules are determined may months in advance, changes in dates, accommodations, leaders or routes may become necessary prior to or during the tour. In this event, participants will have no right to a refund of the tour price. In the event the advertised tour leader becomes unable to lead the tour for any reason, a qualified substitute will be named by Worldwide Quest.

The cost of the tour does not include any additional meals and accommodations due to delays, emergency evacuation costs or transportation to and from your home to the departure point.

Worldwide Quest reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason, in which case participants will be given a full refund. You will not be entitled to make any further claim for any injury, loss, expenses or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience that may result from cancellation (including but not limited to airline tickets, visa, passport and vaccination charges or departure, airport or airline taxes). Notwithstanding the foregoing, no refund will be given for tour cancellation due to circumstances beyond Worldwide Quest’s control, including travel advisories, political turmoil or environmental disasters that may render the destination unsuitable or unsafe.

Worldwide Quest is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you may incur as a result of the cancelled booking including visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non-refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment, You will not be entitled to make any further claim for any injury, loss, expenses, or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience that may result from cancellation (including but not limited to airline tickets, visa, passport, vaccination charges, airport, or airline taxes.)

Airlines and Airfares
Worldwide Quest cannot be held responsible for air arrangements made independently. Please do not make any non‐refundable air arrangements until the trip is confirmed as operating. Participants making their own flight arrangements should note that Worldwide Quest cannot accept any responsibility for the late arrival of such flights and that any such delay could result in missing the tour departure or in incurring additional expenses. The participant is responsible for notifying Worldwide Quest of any delay or change in air itinerary.

Brochures, reservation forms and these terms and conditions are not issued on behalf of, and do not commit to, any airline whose services are used or proposed to be used in the course of the tour. Airfares arranged through Worldwide Quest will be subject to the rules and regulations as determined by the air carrier. Carriage is subject to the rules and limitations established by the Warsaw Convention unless such carriage is not “international carriage” as defined by that Convention. All flight times, flight itineraries and carriers are subject to change with or without notice. We recommend that you contact the airline within 24 hours of departure to reconfirm your departure time. Please note that Worldwide Quest may charge a fee for arranging and booking your flights.

Health and Fitness Requirements
Participants are responsible to ensure they are fit for their chosen trip. Worldwide Quest may require a medical questionnaire to be completed and returned to us as proof that you are fit enough to participate in certain tours. In addition, the tour leader may, during the tour, direct any participant to withdraw from a tour, if he or she believes that participant is incapable, or that the participant’s continued participation in the tour will adversely affect that participant, or other tour participants, or the success of the tour. No refund will be payable in these circumstances.

Tours may take place in remote areas where there is little or no access to normal medical services or hospital facilities. Where necessary, evacuation can be prolonged, difficult and expensive. Medical and evacuation expenses are the responsibility of the participant.

NOTICE TO TRAVELLERS: Different living standards and conditions may exist outside of Canada, including but not limited to: provision of utilities, e.g., water and electricity; accommodations; services of all kinds; food; food preparation and water quality. Worldwide Quest International Inc. shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury or inconvenience resulting from different living standards and practices.
