This tour was an exceptional experience. I was returned to my roots and the richness of my upbringing in a mixed language and culture environment thanks to Ann’s expert leadership of the readings and discussions and Marie’s excellent guiding through old Quebec.

Rick Phillips [was] superb! An enlightening, charming, engaging experience all around. I learned so much from him, as did we all. Rick’s knowledge is legion, his delivery awesome, and his classroom management skills second to none. Being able to actually see and hear the performances [at the Toronto Summer Music Festival concert] transported us all.

He addressed the issue of the Mafia intelligently […] Coming from Palermo, he pointed out details of the buildings which were important to understand how the aristocrats lived.
