Classical Pursuits works closely with the Great Books Foundation in Chicago and Worldwide Quest in Toronto. We are also partnered with Harrison Middleton University, Great Discourses and the Chicago Humanities Festival.

GREAT BOOKS FOUNDATION
Lively discussion and lifelong learning are central to the Great Books Foundation mission to create a world of readers and thinkers. They publish compelling and powerful writing from around the globe and across subject areas. Classical Pursuits works closely with Great Books Foundation (GBF), which provides many of the discussion leaders and offers continuing guidance on how to meaningfully read and discuss books.

WORLDWIDE QUEST
The Travel Pursuits program is part of the Worldwide Quest family of learning vacations. Since 1970, Worldwide Quest has been the Canadian leader in learning vacations specializing in natural history, culture and the arts. HARRISON MIDDLETON UNIVERSITY
Harrison Middleton University is a great ideas, great works, great conversations, distance learning university that offers graduate education in the humanities with concentrations in imaginative literature, natural science, philosophy and religion, and social science. Harrison Middleton University promotes student-faculty scholarship through research, discussion, and the development of collaborative publications. It offers both professional and academic continuing education units for Classical Pursuits programs. GREAT DISCOURSES
Great Discourses offers a wide variety of online Great Books discussion courses, taught by experienced faculty from leading Great Books programs. In addition to its regular offerings, Great Discourses works with Classical Pursuits to offer online courses specially designed to complement Travel Pursuits literary vacations and Toronto Pursuits summer courses. CHICAGO HUMANITIES FESTIVAL
For cultural explorers, the Chicago Humanities Festival creates rich connections and celebrates the social life of ideas by curating live events that enable audiences to see the world differently. Fallfest/16 kicks off with Gloria Steinem (October 13) and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Thomas Friedman (October 17) before the festival’s full schedule of 100+ live events takes place October 29 to November 12. The festival is pleased to extend Charter Humanist membership, which grants VIP access to almost all events, to Classical Pursuits participants at a discounted rate.
